P2 Energy Solutions to Sponsor SPE London Event

Industry professionals will convene to discuss standard petroleum resource definitions

P2 Energy Solutions has been tabbed as a key sponsor of an upcoming event that will bring together representatives from the world’s largest oil and gas companies for important discussions on standard petroleum resource definitions.

Industry professionals will gather March 19-20 for the Society of Petroleum Engineers workshop at the Park Plaza Hotel in London to discuss the “Guidelines for Application of the Petroleum Resources Management System,” a document that contains industry definitions that varying entities can apply consistently.

SPE uses events like the upcoming one in London to provide education on the 222-page document, which was originally posted to SPE’s website in November 2011. The document is periodically revised to accommodate the requirements of all major stakeholders.

The two-day workshop will feature a keynote session and seven breakout sessions. Examples and case studies will be used to support these discussions.
