New Bakken, Marcellus and Utica Lease Coverage; Updates in Southern Region

Tobin Leases have extended coverage in the Bakken, adding more than 400 leases in Renville and McLean counties (North Dakota) and new Lease Activity data in McKenzie, Mercer and Hettinger counties (North Dakota). Another 700 leases have been posted in the Marcellus and Utica with the delivery of Indiana and Greene (Pennsylvania) and Carroll (Ohio) counties.

In case you haven’t already heard, Tobin has extended its reach into the oil-rich Bakken shale play.

 

The Bakken, which covers 200,000 square miles of Montana, North Dakota, Manitoba and Saskatchewan, is estimated to hold 4.3 billion barrels of oil.
