The industry-accepted standard for map data
Tobin Early Location Service
Tobin Early Location Service (ELS) is designed to be the timeliest oil and gas well coordinate updating service in the business. Through ELS, customers have access to the most current permitted and completed well locations available. Well permits and completions are delivered to Tobin on a daily basis. The data is updated and locations are interactively calculated to Tobin Landgrid and Survey Data in 30 States and the Gulf of Mexico.
Wells that have yet to be assigned an API are delivered using an IHS Energy Group Internal Control (IC) number, and include the Tobin basic well header information. Data elements include but are not limited to: latitude, longitude, X/Y coordinates, API, operator name, lease name, well number, total depth and status.
ELS offers expedient delivery of the latest well data available, and greater flexibility in data delivery. ELS is available exclusively through FTP delivery and is provided in the traditional WCS format.
