Here is an overview of lease activity for mineral rights in the Eagle Ford Shale Play for June of 2010, the latest data that P2 Tobin Map Data has collected from local county courthouses.


Lease activity in the Eagle Ford Shale play rose dramatically between May and June - almost 50% overall. Some counties that haven't seen much activity in the previous 6 months are now seeing a spike, such as Washington and Fayette counties.

This information is provided through Tobin Map Data's Lease Activity product on a monthly basis. Subscribers receive all data pertaining to each lease contract, including the size of the lease, expiration dates, lessors and lessees.
