Here is an overview of lease activity for mineral rights in the Eagle Ford Shale Play for April of 2010, the latest month that P2 Tobin Map Data has collected from local county courthouses.


Overall, the trend saw a lease activity increase of 5%, from 2,241 leases filed in March to 2,354 new leases filed in April. LaSalle, Lavaca and De Witt counties continue to see the most leases.
