Shale Play Well Permits, Completions: July 2010
Declines in well permits and completions continue in the Barnett and Eagle Ford shale plays, but activity continues to inch up in the Haynesville.
Haynesville Shale Well Data - July 2010
The number of completed wells continues to stay in the single digits in the Haynesville shale, but the number of permits for wells inched up a bit in July.
Barnett Shale Well Data - July 2010
The number of permitted wells in the Barnett Shale Play fell dramatically in July, to the lowest level in a year. Completed wells rose a bit, but nowhere near the levels of 2009.
Eagle Ford Shale Well Data - June 2010
Permits for wells in the Eagle Ford shale play continued a declining trend in July, according to Tobin Map Data. The number of completed wells was also surprising - only 1 well, a drop from 13 completed in June.
