DENVER, July 7, 2010 – Using technology to master challenges in upstream oil and gas operations, from exploration to completion, is the focus of P2 Energy Solutions’ ASCEND 2010 Conference November 1-5, 2010 at the JW Marriott San Antonio Hill Country Resort in Texas. Keynote speakers for the event will be:


  • Renowned geopolitical energy expert Dr. Michael Economides, professor at the Cullen College of Engineering at the University of Houston, on November 3;
  • Alison Levine, team captain of the first American Women's Everest Expedition, on November 2;
  • Mary LoVerde, famous life-balance strategist on November 3.

The main attraction of the five-day informational and educational conference is the user-driven agenda. Topics such as “The New Realities of Horizontal Shale Plays,” “Realizing Synergies of Mergers and Acquisitions,” and “Stop Managing Your Paper, Start Managing Your Workflow” are on tap for ASCEND 2010.
