DENVER – (April 10, 2017) – P2 Energy Solutions announced today that its partnership with Esri has reached 20 years, further emphasizing the two companies’ commitment to providing solutions that meet their joint customers’ diverse oil and gas mapping needs.

“This partnership has been an enduring success because it’s rooted in a common goal: To deliver robust GIS-based solutions to our mutual customers,” said Tony Sperduti, P2’s Senior Vice President of Tobin Data Solutions. “P2’s industry-leading Tobin Data and P2 GIS land mapping software are delivered in conjunction with Esri technology and both products have enabled our customers to meet and exceed their mapping needs for the last 20 years. From P2’s geospatial roots using ArcInfo Workstation to now leveraging the latest Web GIS technology, we continue to collaborate with our common customers to provide solutions to increasingly dynamic industry geospatial visualization challenges.”

P2 also leverages Esri technology to automate the process of making Esri-based maps of the assets stored in P2 Land, the oil and gas industry’s most advanced yet easiest to use land management system. P2’s map technology is built on a framework of automated spatial data creation, publishing and map labeling that has been continually improved in step with Esri over the last two decades. Together, the Tobin Data-P2 Land-Esri GIS trio make a potent combination for accurate land mapping.

“P2 is to be congratulated as a committed 20-year partner with Esri and we appreciate the expertise they bring in providing market-leading data and software solutions that support the land management function in the petroleum and pipeline industries,” said Paul Hartwell, a Partner Executive of Natural Resources at Esri. “The Tobin brand is a recognized benchmark for upstream GIS content while the P2 GIS and P2 Land solutions continue to innovate workflows from the field to the office. I know P2 represents ArcGIS accurately to our joint customers and that level of confidence is what we want with our best partners. I look forward to another 20 years of partnering.”

P2 will be giving two presentations at the Esri Petroleum GIS Conference, which will take place April 12-13, 2017, at the George R. Brown Convention Center in Houston.
