Databeacon OLAP

Databeacon OLAP is a powerful Web-based analytical tool that allows you to take large amounts of complex data and analyze it in an interactive, simple and insightful way via a multidimensional OLAP cube.

OLAP Cubes

Each data cube contains categories and measures. Categories are descriptive data elements such as cost centers, accounts, operators, AFEs, location, responsibility reporting. Categories have defined hierarchies. For example, a category called Accounts can drill down from a general account to a detailed account. Measures are the quantifiable data elements, such as amounts, volumes and price. In addition to drilling through the definable hierarchies of the data cube, the user can also drill back to the data source for detail.

Administrator and User-Defined Reports

Each data cube can have predefined administrator reports which are available to the user-base. In addition, users can save their own set of reports (based on the IP address of their PC).

Excalibur Data Analysis

Excalibur Data Analysis (EDA) creates data extracts that are used by the OLAP cubes. Parameters for cost center and AFE based extracts are defined and set to run on a scheduled basis through EDA.
