History

In 2003, oil and gas technology providers Paradigm Technologies, Petroleum Financial Inc. and Novistar merged, creating P2 Energy Solutions. The following year, Tobin International joined and, in 2005, Qbyte was added to the P2 Energy Solutions family. Our most recent addition came in 2008, when Wellcore joined the product line.

By acquiring and integrating world-class product lines, P2 Energy Solutions has become the most comprehensive source of upstream solutions, offering the broadest range of exploration, development, production and management solutions in the energy industry to all sizes of companies, ranging from private independents to super majors:

• With over 27 years of experience serving growing E&P companies, Paradigm Technologies became our Excalibur product line of accounting, land management and production software.
• Petroleum Financial Inc. has operated for more than 15 years providing accounting and land management outsourcing and hosting solutions using the Excalibur Energy Management System.
• With a history of more than 15 years, Novistar, formerly Oracle Energy, has transformed into the Enterprise Upstream software product line, offering accounting, production and land management solutions to mid-sized and large multinational operating companies
• Known for more than 75 years as offering the most trusted data throughout the upstream industry, Tobin International became our Tobin map data product line.
• The Qbyte product line of financial management, land management, production accounting and geotechnical solutions has been used in the Canadian oil and gas industry for more than 20 years.
